Authentic Chanel Espadrilles VS Fake

How to spot fake ?

If you decided to buy new pair of Chanel Shoes you need to know some important facts about authentic item to buy original product.Firstly ,lets remember something from history about this style of shoes :

Espadrilles or alpargatas are normally casual, flat, but sometimes high-heeled shoes originating in the Pyrenees. They usually have a canvas or cotton fabric upper and a flexible sole made of jute rope. The jute rope sole is the defining characteristic of an espadrille; the uppers vary widely in style. In Quebec, however, espadrille is the usual term for running shoes or sneakers.

Basic information about original product  

1)

•  Rope soles is long, soft and has a shiny vegetable fiber. 
• The older models have a single rope sole but this year Chanel introduced the double rope sole, which is more heavier and bulkier. 
•  Not all the current models have a dubble rope sole!  

The rope soles is protected by a rubber sole. All the letters, digits and logo are in relief 

The structure of the sole from tip to heel should be:

• The size in EU;
• Espadrilles come in full sizes (37, 38, 39, etc) and NEVER in half sizes. Some models have a line under the size.
•  A “Made in Spain” relief;

•  A kinda see through space with a Chanel patern, where you should see the structure of the rope underneth the rubber sole;
•  “CHANEL” in capital letters;
•  again a see through space; and
•  on the heel a big CC logo.

2)Lambskin Leather 

The leather that is used on authentic Chanel espadrilles is Lambskin, which is very soft and has a buttery texture with a finely grained.

 3) The CC logo

• The fake leather espadrilles the stitching of the CC isn’t need and the CC isn’t even! Also the right loup of the inner part is thicker than the left.
•  On the authentic leather espadrilles the CC is even en the stitching is perfect! 

4) Heat Stamp

•  Made in Spain-Not in Italy !
• The engraving on the authentic espadrilles is very sharp
• Also the inside is stitched all around with jute rope

5) Package 

Authentic :

• Black firm box with a bit leathery glow and “CHANEL” written on top of the cover in white capital letters
• Inside of the box a black cotton dustbag with in white capital letters “CHANEL”

Fake :

• soft looking box, a box that has dents or a CC logo
•  white dustbag or a CC sign on the dustbag the espadrilles
